100kW Solar Installation, Ellinbank VIC

The Brief

A dairy research centre, situated in Gippsland, Victoria, faced the challenge of optimizing its energy consumption to enhance profitability and sustainability in dairy farming. The traditional energy sources were neither cost-effective nor aligned with the goal of becoming more environmentally friendly.

The Solution

To address this issue, the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions engaged in a tender process, awarding KUGA the opportunity to implement a cutting-edge solution. The installation of a 100kW solar power system, comprising Sunpower 480W panels, coupled with a 102kWh Alpha Storion T30 battery storage system, emerged as the ideal sustainable solution. The system has an average of 411.31MWh daily generation.
