100kW Solar Installation, Tarneit VIC

The Brief

An organization overseeing 290 primary schools in the Melbourne region has launched an energy efficiency initiative across its education network. As part of this initiative, a 100kW solar system was installed in Melbourne’s outer west, utilizing high-performance 450W Half Cell EGing panels, known for their reliability and strong warranty.

The installation has been registered with the “Solar Schools” program, which provides both monitoring and funding for schools adopting solar energy. Live production data from the system is used to educate students about renewable energy practices and the benefits of solar power.

The Solution

The result, 83.93MWh of annual solar generation, saving 85.14 tonnes of carbon dioxide. The building moved towards sustainability sets a great example for schools embracing renewable energy.
